Clark County Skills Center offers tour, gourmet lunch

The Clark County Skills Center offers a VIP tour and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, on its campus, 12200 N.E. 28th St.

The tour will be led by Skills Center Director Kari Duffy. Participants will tour various programs, meet student leaders, see state-of-the-art equipment and technology and view two new buildings under construction.

Participants can purchase a $5 gourmet lunch prepared in the center’s restaurant, affiliated with the American Culinary Federation. RSVP by Oct. 25 to Jan Strickland, 360-604-1050, extension 2151.

Owned and operated by the 10 Clark County school districts, the Skills Center provides technical and professional training programs to prepare Clark County high school and college students for the workforce. To learn more, visit www.ccskillscenter.com.
