A Vancouver man described as having the mental capacity of a 14-year-old was reported missing Friday morning from his North Garrison Heights home.

The family of Robert W. Hassler, 38, reported him missing about 7:30 a.m. when they did not find him at his home in the 8300 block of Northeast 12th Street and he did not show up for work, according to the Vancouver Police Department. His family had last seen him Thursday night and said it is not normal for Hassler to stray for his routine.

He has no known medical problems.

Anyone who sees Hassler or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
