Letter: Lying president can’t negotiate

The Columbian

Here President Obama goes again about the so-called government shutdown. Please media, it is a partial shutdown.

Now when World War II veterans who have planned for months visit the war memorial and other sites, President Obama and his serfs do not care. It’s just beyond comprehension.

Of course, Obama goes on with his political lies. Hey, how about “hope and change”? How about “transparency”? Hey, what about Gitmo? What about Libya? What about the cost of Obamacare? Well, I could go on but save the print.

I am retired and have never witnessed such a narcissistic and arrogant president. Either his way or the highway. Ronald Reagan, a Republican, and Tip O’Neill a Democrat, knew how to negotiate without animosity and they made it happen for the good of the U.S.A.
