STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — UCLA inside linebacker Eric Kendricks has been taken to the hospital for tests on his kidney after leaving the ninth-ranked Bruins’ game at No. 13 Stanford on Saturday.

A spokesman for UCLA said Kendricks was taken to Stanford Hospital after making nine tackles in the first half. It was not immediately clear what caused Kendricks’ kidney issue.

The redshirt junior from Fresno, Calif., entered the game leading UCLA with 47 tackles this season. He also has one interception.
