Vancouver police are investigating a Monday evening hit-and-run collision in which a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the Marrion neighborhood.

A 65-year-old man using a walker was crossing Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard at Southeast 105th Avenue around 7 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle, which then drove away.

Witnesses describe the vehicle as a gray sedan, possibly an import, that likely has right front-end damage. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The Traffic Unit asks that anyone with information about the crash call the police department at 360-487-7400 or 911.
