Hockinson author nominated for regional book award

Hockinson — Hockinson author Dan Strawn was recently nominated for a 2014 Pacific Northwest Book Sellers Association award for his novel “Black Wolf’s Return.” The book released in July by Bluewood Publishing tells a story spanning 300 years about the “parallel fates of both wolves and the Nez Perce Indians in Eastern Oregon.” Strawn will find out next year if he has won.
