Sweet Reason wins Spinaway at Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — Sweet Reason romped to a six-length victory Sunday in the $300,000 Spinaway Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Saratoga Race Course.

Ridden by Alex Solis, the Leah Gyamati-trained Sweet Reason ran 7 furlongs in 1:23.42 over the sloppy track and paid $7, $4.40 and $3.10. She earned $180,000 for Treadway Racing Stable.

Stopchargingmaria returned $5.90 and $3.80, and Dancing House, third of nine, paid $6.20 to show.
