La Center — The Cole Masonry team pulled its way to victory in the annual “Extreme Tug-o-War Fundraiser” during the La Center Our Days Festival in late August. Six teams competed at the La Center Grange by pulling a 100-foot professional tug-of-war rope. The event raised $1,300 for the La Center Grange.
