Western Container Transport earns awards

Western Container Transport of Vancouver recently won two awards at the annual Lowe’s International Trucking Conference in Wilkesboro, N.C.

The intermodal trucking company, which has operated for more than 30 years and has more than 50 employees in the Vancouver area, won the Platinum Award for its 99.7 percent on-time delivery of loads originating from the ports of Seattle, Tacoma and Portland and delivered to Lowe’s regional distribution warehouse in Lebanon, Ore. It also won the Trucker of the Year national award.

Thirty-one motor carriers were invited to the national conference, representing all regions of the country.
