Trailing by two goals with six minutes left, Mountain View rallied for a 3-2 win over Hudson’s Bay on Friday in a Class 3A Greater St. Helens League boys soccer game at McKenzie Stadium.
Two goals by Jared Berg forced overtime, and Isaac Strever scored the winner in overtime with an assist from David Warne.
Aaron Bode scored both goals for Hudson’s Bay, twice converting on free kicks from distance.
Strever and Will Warne assisted on the first two Mountain View goals.
The Thunder improved to 4-0 in league play, 8-2 overall. The Eagles have three losses and a draw in league play.

• Allyson Leasia, Heritage softball, went 4 for 4 with a double and three RBI in a 16-2 win over Fort Vancouver.
• James Phillips, Prairie boys track and field, was selected the outstanding male athlete at the John Ingram Twilight Invitational at Columbia River, winning the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles and long jump.
• Ellie Walker, Columbia River girls track and field, posted a pair of solid wins in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles and placed third in the high jump at the John Ingram Twilight Invitational.
• Eric Ferris, Skyview soccer, had three goals and one assist in a 6-0 win over Heritage.
• Joel Worden, Hockinson baseball, pitched a complete-game four-hitter with five strikeouts and was a combined 3 for 5 with three RBI in the Hawks’ 3-0 and 4-3 sweep of R.A. Long.
• Parker Boyd, Battle Ground softball, struck out 11 batters as the Tigers beat Columbia River 5-2.
• Shannon Boyle, Ridgefield softball, pitched a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts and was 2 for 4 at the plate in the Spudders’ 21-7 win over Hockinson.
• Kayla Lagerquist, Washougal softball, was 3 for 4 with a double and four RBI and was the winning pitcher in the Panthers’ 12-2 win over Mark Morris.
• Jordan Shaw, Prairie softball, went 3 for 4 with two doubles and three RBI as the Falcons beat Union 9-2.
• Dmitriy Tkachenko, Union soccer, scored two second-half goals to lead the Titans to a 3-1 win over Battle Ground.
• Christian Thyron, Prairie soccer, scored three first-half goals as the Falcons and Kelso played to a 3-3 draw.
• Reilly Hennessey, Camas baseball, had two hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs as Camas topped Evergreen 7-2.
• Bailley Simms, Evergreen softball, went 4 for 4 with two triples and a double and drove in three runs against Hudson’s Bay.
National bid for Ries
Ridgefield High School freshman Taryn Ries will attend the U.S. Soccer under-15 girls national team camp April 19-26 at Carson, Calif. It will be her first national team camp.
The April camp is an early step in identifying players for the United States team that will attempt to qualify for the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. Ries is one of a dozen players listed as forwards on the training camp roster.
Ries scored 20 goals and had nine assists as a freshman for the Spudders.
Ries plays her club soccer for FC Portland.
Ries joins Camas High School sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Rood and University of Portland freshman Ellie Boon from Washougal as Clark County players who have recently participated in U.S. Women’s National Team age-group teams.
