Nominees for high school spring sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending April 26. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Thursday with results published in Friday’s Columbian.

MACKENZIE ALAMILLO, BATTLE GROUND GOLF: Alamillo shot a 1-over-par 37 at The Cedars in a win over Evergreen.

TAYLOR ELLENSOHN, HOCKINSON BASEBALL: Ellensohn went 8 for 13 with two RBI over three games, all wins, for the Hawks.

MELISSA HENRY, EVERGREEN SOFTBALL: Henry went 8 for 10 with a double and a triple over three games for Evergreen.

BAILEY KING, UNION BOYS TRACK AND FIELD: King won the discus and placed second in the shot put at the Centennial Invitational in Gresham, Ore.

ELLIE WALKER, COLUMBIA RIVER GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD: Walker won the high jump and 300 hurdles and placed second in the 100 hurdles at the Elden Keller Invitational in Hillsboro, Ore.
