Supporters of Shane Gardner, a candidate for Clark County sheriff, will hold a kickoff party and rally Thursday in Vancouver.
The “Stronger Together” rally will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Main Event Sports Grill’s east Vancouver location, 3200 S.E. 164th Ave.
Gardner, the sheriff’s community outreach sergeant, is running as a nonpartisan for the elected office. Incumbent Garry Lucas said last week he is retiring after six terms.
