Police say that a missing Vancouver woman has been found safe just three hours after they asked for the public’s help.

Vancouver detectives sent a press release at 7 a.m. this morning asking for the public’s help in locating Barbara J. Cordova Ayala, 41, after they had earlier responded to the 3300 block of Northeast 57th Avenue and took the missing person report.

Family members told officers that she may have been feeling depressed and made statements that made them concerned for her welfare.

By 10 p.m., police reported that Ayala was located and safe.
