Northfield — A Northfield resident was honored recently by his neighborhood association for contributions to his community. Ed Malcom, who owns a condo in the neighborhood, is known to drive around on his golf cart and lend a hand by adjusting sprinkler heads, helping residents haul items or whatever else he can do to assist, according to the Northfield Neighborhood Association. He recently volunteered to remove a dead arborvitae by the fence of the condo community that was an eyesore and potential safety hazard.
