The boyfriend of a Hillsboro woman killed Friday was arrested near La Center Saturday evening by deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Eric Christopher Petersen, 24, of Hillsboro on a probation violation warrant, and he was booked into the Clark County Jail, according to a press release from the Hillsboro Police Department. Police had identified him as a person of interest in their homicide investigation of the death of 24-year-old Aimie Zdrantan.

Zdrantan was found dead in her apartment shortly before noon on Friday after Hillsboro police were dispatched to a reported stabbing at the Minter Bridge Square apartment complex, 1821 S.E. Minter Bridge Road.

Police on Saturday sought the public’s help in locating Petersen, calling him “armed and dangerous” in a press release.
