Pancake Breakfast draws crowd to Clark County Sheriff’s Office

A steady crowd of law enforcement and community members visited the Clark County Sheriff’s Office this morning for the agency’s annual pancake breakfast.

The agency hosted the breakfast, which offers a meal for a suggested donation of $5 and a silent auction. The proceeds of the breakfast benefit Santa’s Posse, which collects and distributes toys and food to less fortunate families in Clark County.

During this year’s event, Sheriff Garry Lucas handed over his pancake-making duties to Sheriff-elect Chuck Atkins in a ceremonial “passing of the spatula.”
