A Hazel Dell convenience store was robbed about 3 a.m. Friday, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The robber entered the 7-Eleven store, at 6212 N.E. Highway 99, with a cloth over his face. He implied that he had a weapon and demanded cash, said CCSO Sgt. Fred Neiman. He fled on foot with a small amount of money.

Deputies searched the area and a police dog tried to track the robber, but both efforts were unsuccessful.

The robber was described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, thin and wearing dark clothing.
