Letter: Higher minimum falls on consumer

The Columbian
Published: December 23, 2014, 4:00pm

Isn’t it ironic, people working for the fast food industry, making minimum wage, have been picketing for a $15-per-hour minimum wage? And what entity is going to put it into effect first? The governmental agencies of Seattle and Multnomah County in Oregon. I’m certainly not in favor of a $15 minimum wage, and I don’t care for our government to jump on the bandwagon to be the first to make the move. Who do you think is going to pay these wages?
