Girls basketball: Skyview 38, South Eugene 29

Ashlee Comastro had a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds as the Storm won its opening game at the Nike Interstate Shootout at Lake Oswego.

Strong rebounding throughout helped Skyview advance to the quarterfinals where it will face Springfield at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Skyview (4-2) held South Eugene to just two free throws in the fourth quarter to put the game away.
