Shumway fire results in one injury

Resident treated for smoke inhalation

One person was treated for smoke inhalation from a house fire in Vancouver’s Shumway neighborhood Monday evening.

Vancouver firefighters responded to the fire, at 3415 G St., shortly after 7:20 p.m. Crews attacked the flames and had the fire under control within an hour, according to emergency radio traffic monitored by The Columbian. The person treated for smoke inhalation was a resident of the home.
