GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Colorado Rockies co-owner Charlie Monfort has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Tribune (http://bit.ly/1bE2Pcm) reported that Monfort entered the plea on Friday in his hometown of Greeley and was sentenced to two years of probation.

Monfort was arrested on Nov. 5 after police say he was pulled over and found to be driving with a breath alcohol concentration level more than three times the legal limit.

He was also sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to driving while ability impaired following a 1999 arrest in Greeley. Police said he had a blood-alcohol level more than two times the legal limit at the time.

Outside court on Friday, Monfort said he was deeply sorry for his actions and that every day is a battle in dealing with alcohol abuse.
