Bennington — Riverview Community Bank employees helped gather gifts for hundreds of area foster children last month during its annual Shirley DuPaul Gifts for Kids in Care donation drive. The program was named to honor the memory of the effort’s driving force for its first 20 years. This year had bank employees buy more than 300 presents, based on wish lists made by children in the foster care system. It was coordinated by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. Donated gifts this year included clothes, video games, books, gift cards and more.
