Vancouver boxer Virgil Green is scheduled to fight on ESPN2 as part of the network’s Friday Night Fight’s show.

On Jan. 24 at the Little Creek Casino in Shelton, Green will battle Guilllermo Delgadillo of Walla Walla in a six-round light welterweight bout. Delgadillo, 35, has a record of 4-5 in pro fights.

Leonard Gabriel, Green’s coach at Fisticuffs Gym in Vancouver, said the fight is expected to be among the bouts televised from an eight-bout card.

Green, 25, has a 7-2 record as a professional boxer. He has won his last two fights, including a fourth-round technical knockout of Antonio Neal on Sept. 20 in his most recent fight.
