Girls basketball: Hockinson 56, R.A. Long 28

Hockinson’s pressing defense, led by Hannah Neibauer and Sydney Cole, helped them get a 56-28 win over R.A. Long.

The duo of Neibauer and Cole had six steals apiece, accounting for over half of Hockinson’s steals on the night. Those steals led to easy baskets on the other end. All 10 girls for Hockinson did their part in the win as each one of them scored and played their pressing style for the duration of the game. Neibauer led all scorers with 15 points while Elle Tilkin cleaned up on the glass for Hockinson, grabbing 10 rebounds to go with six points.
