Bryant dominates Fairleigh Dickinson 95-68

TEANECK, N.J. (AP) — Corey Maynard scored a career-high 30 points Saturday and Alex Francis added 22 as Bryant dominated Fairleigh Dickinson 95-68.

Dyami Starks scored 15, Curtis Oakley 13, and Shane McLaughlin 10, for the Bulldogs (11-8, 3-1 Northeast Conference). Maynard finished 12 of 15 from the field and 3 of 3 from long range.

Maynard opened with a jumper and Bryant took control 10-8 on a layup by Francis that sparked a 12-2 run capped by a 3-pointer by Maynard. Maynard scored 18 in the half and Bryant built a dominating 52-31 halftime lead, shooting 8 of 13 from beyond the arc (66.7 percent).

The Knights (6-12, 2-2) ripped an 11-0 run to open the second and trailed by 13 with 8:45 to play, but Maynard replied with five straight points and the Bulldogs pulled away.

Sidney Sanders Jr. led Fairleigh Dickinson with 21 points and Mathias Seilund added 15.
