One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning at the Mill Plain Boulevard exit from Interstate 5 south.

At about 8:45 a.m., John Davis, 70, of Kelso was exiting the interstate in a 1997 Lincoln Town Car, but he didn’t slow for traffic and crashed into a 2003 Subaru Legacy station wagon, according to Washington State Patrol.

The crash pushed the station wagon into a 1997 Dodge Caravan, according to state patrol.

None of the occupants of the station wagon or the Caravan were injured, but Davis was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

Davis was cited for speeding.
