Life jackets are now on loan at the Marine Park boat launch in Vancouver.

Sea Tow Foundation provided life jackets for the new stand as part of a grant administered by the U.S. Coast Guard. Brian Haugen, a local Eagle Scout with Troop 341, built the kiosk for the life jackets as his Eagle project.

Clark County Fire District 6 and Safe Kids Clark County are seeking life jacket donations for the other stand at Klineline Pond.

Coast Guard-certified Type II and III jackets can be dropped off at Station 61, 8800 N.E. Hazel Dell Ave.
