Police investigating robbery at Umpqua Bank

Vancouver police are investigating a robbery at an Umpqua Bank in Vancouver.

A white man robbed the bank, 6501 E. Mill Plain Blvd., at about 3:15 p.m. Friday, according to Vancouver police.

The man left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. Police searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

Witnesses said the man had a thin build and was wearing a wig, sunglasses, gloves, a black shirt and jeans.

The police investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Vancouver police tip line at 360-487-7399.
