MUSICAL PERFORMANCE, “A Perfect Brightness of Hope,” will be presented at 11 a.m. and 3 and 7 p.m. at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds, 17402 N.E. Delfel Road, Ridgefield. The 2014 Regional LDS Youth Choir and Orchestra includes 1,200 youth, ages 14-18, from Vancouver, Longview and The Dalles, Ore. Free parking and free admission. The event is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be offered at The Church at Proebstel, 18702 N.E. Fourth Plain Road, Vancouver, from July 14-18. Classes, 9 a.m. to noon, will be for children ages 3 through sixth grade. Registration: www.groupvbspro.com/vbs/ez/proebstel.

JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES CONTINUE ANNUAL CONVENTION and invite everyone to the free event at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 300 N. Winning Way, Portland. This year’s theme is “Keep Seeking First God’s Kingdom.” All the local Clark County congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses will be involved, with approximately 28,000 attending over the four weekends. The English-language event continues today and Sunday, and July 4-6 and 11-13 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 300 N. Winning Way, Portland. A Spanish-language convention will be Aug. 1-3.
