Police investigate armed robbery at Vancouver head shop

Police are investigating an armed robbery reported late Friday at Mary Jane’s House of Glass, Mill Plain, 8312 E Mill Plain Blvd., in Vancouver.

The robbery occurred shortly before 10:40 p.m., according to emergency radio traffic. A man with a gun had robbed the store and was last seen heading west on Mill Plain Boulevard.

The robber was described as a heavy-set man of Asian or Pacific Islander descent, 18-25 years old and about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, according to radio traffic. He was dressed in black, wore a cloth over his face and carried a black semi-automatic handgun.

Police were searching the area for a suspect.
