BASEBALL

Record: 18-8 overall, 8-4 NWAACC South Region. Ranked 7th in April 10 coaches poll.

Last week: Won five of six games, including three of four from Chemeketa with three shutouts.

Next games: Clark is scheduled to face Lane in a four-game set. Friday’s doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at Eugene, with Saturday’s DH at 1 p.m. at Kindsfather Field.

SOFTBALL

Record: 6-15 overall, 0-6 NWAACC South Region.

Last week: Swept by Lower Columbia and Mt. Hood in region play; went 1-3 at Skagit Valley Crossover in Mount Vernon, victory was over Green River, 3-1.

Next games: Clark is scheduled to visit Southwestern Oregon for a doubleheader at Coos Bay on Saturday.

TRACK AND FIELD

Last week: At the Pacific Northwest Relays at Oregon City, the Clark women’s distance medley won their event in 13:19.86, and Carley Lannan won the shot put (40 feet, 2 1/4 inches) and discus (109-8).

Next: Clark is scheduled to participate in the Oregon Relays at Eugene on Friday and Saturday.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Signings: Clark sophomore Nicolette Bond, a Battle Ground HS grad, announced she will be continuing her collegiate basketball career at Central Washington. This past season, Bond led the NWAACC in free-throw percentage (90.3) and was 11th in 3-point field goals.
