o Becky Willey, a Vancouver American Family Insurance agent since 2006, has been recognized for providing outstanding customer service under the American Star Excellence in Customer Experience Certification. The award recognizes agents who demonstrate the highest level of commitment to outstanding customer service. Willey reports to offices in the Eastridge Business Park.
o Lori Simpson, ESD 112 executive director of communications and community engagement, received the Washington School Public Relations Association’s Learning and Liberty Award at the organization’s recent annual state conference, which was held in Leavenworth. She has worked for 30 years in school public relations.
o The Columbia River Economic Development Council has hired Max Ault as its business development manager. He previously served as operations manager for the Gifford Pinchot Task Force. Ault’s other experience includes serving as special assistant to the Office of the Chancellor at Washington State University Vancouver and as legislative assistant to former state Rep. Tim Probst.
o Carol Van Natta and Ron Frederiksen have been appointed to the board of directors of business advocacy group Identity Clark County. Van Natta, a Vancouver native, is executive director of the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Foundation, where she oversees philanthropic programs. Frederiksen, a lifelong Clark County resident, is CEO of RSV Building Solutions, a Vancouver design-build commercial contractor. He began working at RSV in 1980 and bought the company in 1989.
