A brief power outage about 9 a.m. this morning interrupted traffic signals in Orchards.

According to Erica Erland of Clark Public Utilities, a squirrel in a transformer near SEH America caused the brief outage, which disrupted power for 2,700 customers.

Traffic lights along 112th Avenue were out about 9:15 a.m. at intersections including state Highway 500 near the Clark County Family YMCA. Other lights in the area were flashing red.

Drivers were treating the lights as four-way stops.
