TACOMA — Authorities say four people were injured, one critically, after a rollover collision on Interstate 5 in Tacoma Tuesday morning.

Tacoma Fire Department spokesman Joe Meinecke says one person is in critical condition and three others are in stable condition.

A Washington State Patrol spokesman said on Twitter that five vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened in the southbound lanes of I-5.

The collision caused major traffic backups in both directions.
