The Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Council will host an open house meeting next week focusing on a proposed update to a long-range transportation plan.

The 2035 Regional Transportation Plan for Clark County outlines a wide range of needs, priorities and projects during the next two decades. The RTC board has reviewed the plan for much of this year, and could approve an update next month.

The agency is accepting comments on the plan until Dec. 2.

The plan, updated at least every four years, was last revised in 2011.

People can comment at next week’s open house, which lasts from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Columbia Room of the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St.
