A man whom police say is connected to a residential robbery in Vancouver’s North Image neighborhood was arrested Thursday in Oregon.

Two men reportedly entered a house at 11614 N.E. 49th St. at about 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp. The two men assaulted and robbed the resident at gunpoint and took various items before fleeing the residence, Kapp said.

One of the men was known to the resident, she said.

Police located one of the suspects, Billy T. Lawson, 28, in Gresham, Ore., and arrested him on multiple charges related to the incident, Kapp said. He was booked into the Multnomah County (Ore.) Jail on Thursday, according to jail records.
