A Portland man was booked into jail after leaving the scene of a head-on vehicle collision in Vancouver that he allegedly caused.

The crash was reported at 5:23 a.m. Tuesday at Northeast 86th Avenue and Burton Road in the Ogden neighborhood. Three people sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, said Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.

The driver believed to have caused the crash drove away, but a witness to the collision told police what his vehicle looked like, Kapp said. Officers later found Richy S. Souken, 23, and arrested him on suspicion of three counts of hit and run.
