Vancouver telecommunications company Integra has completed its acquistion of Seattle-based World Communications Inc., a telecommunications services provider to more than 1,000 Seattle-area businesses. The deal was announced in July. The cost of the acquisition was not disclosed.

Privately owned Integra, which moved headquarters last year from Portland, provides fiber infrastructure in 11 states.

“The acquisition of (World Communications Inc.) is a key step in the continued growth of our fiber-rich Northwest markets and we’re pleased to see it to completion,” said Jesse Selnick, Integra’s chief financial officer, in a statement.
