Prep highlights: Ridgefield volleyball rallies to beat R.A. Long

Madi Harter had 13 kills, four blocks and two aces and Sarena Bartley added 13 kills and four block as Ridgefield rallied to beat R.A. Long in volleyball 19-25, 20-25, 25-8, 26-24, 15-11.

Bella Gama had 30 assists, 15 digs and nine kills, and Sam Rice added 20 assists and six kills.

Stars of the day

• Taryn Ries, Ridgefield girls soccer, scored three goals as the Spudders beat R.A. Long 4-0 to remain unbeaten.

• Jessica Allen, Columbia River girls soccer, scored two goals as the Chieftains outscored Kelso 3-0 in the second half for a 5-2 win.

• Huong Nguyen, Prairie volleyball, had 11 kills, nine digs and four aces in the Falcons sweep of Fort Vancouver.

• Kaylin Sperley, Prairie girls soccer, scored two goals in the Falcons’ 7-0 win over Fort Vancouver.

• Haley Briggs, Washougal soccer, scored in overtime to lift the Panthers over Woodland 2-1.

• Brooke Van Sickle, Battle Ground volleyball, had 16 kills, 10 assists, three aces and eight digs as the Tigers swept Mountain View.

• Kari Staples, King’s Way Christian volleyball, had 20 kills and 5 blocks in a win over White Salmon.

• Tina Elliott, Camas volleyball, had 35 assists and added two kills in a win over Union.

• Taylor Kernion, Skyview girls soccer, scored two first-half goals to help the Storm defeat Union 3-1.

• Anyssa DeVera, Camas soccer, had two goals and an assist in a win over Evergreen.

• Katlyn Bigley, La Center soccer, scored three goals in a win over White Salmon.
