Published: April 28, 2015, 5:00pm

Clark County — The National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation, or NWCAVE, started the Gift of Lift Project in October, collecting brassieres at six drop-off locations in Clark County. The organization collected 1,150 bras between Oct. 1 and Jan. 17, which were donated to Free The Girls, a nonprofit which provides jobs for survivors of human trafficking, and YWCA Clark County Women Offenders Rehabilitation, Training, and Help Program. NWCAVE launched a second campaign on Valentine’s Day, and that runs until Mother’s Day. There are 12 drop-off locations in Clark County, including YWCA Clark County at 3609 Main St., Vancouver; Posh + Tattered at 14 S.E. Clark Ave., Battle Ground; and Spirit of Health at 14201 N.E. 20th Ave., Vancouver. For the full list of drop-off locations, check out www.facebook.com/thegiftoflift.
