Two juveniles suspected of causing small fires at Heritage High School may face charges, according to the Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office.

The fires were reported at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday in two separate areas of dry grass on the school campus, 7825 N.E. 130th Ave.

The flames spread and caused minor damage to a portable building, estimated to be about $500 in damage, before firefighters extinguished them, Deputy Fire Marshal Susan Anderson said.

A witness gave investigators information about the suspects, who have been identified, Anderson said.

The information in the report will be forwarded to juvenile prosecuting attorneys for consideration of charges, she said.
