Fire investigators are looking for help identifying juveniles believed to have started a brush fire Thursday in Vancouver’s Marrion neighborhood.

The fire, reported at about 9:20 p.m. at 1608 N.E. 101st Ave., spread to just under an acre in size, Vancouver Fire Marshal Heidi Scarpelli said. There was no monetary loss from the fire, on vacant land owned by Clark County.

Scarpelli said the fire was caused by illegal use of fireworks and investigators are seeking to find the people responsible.

Anyone with information on the fire or who knows the identity of the juveniles is asked to call the Vancouver Fire Marshal’s Office at 360-487-7219.
