Girls basketball: Skyview 66, Mark Morris 14

Three players scored in double figures as the Storm opened the season with a runaway win over the visiting Monarchs.

Ashlee Comastro led the way for Skyview with 20 points. Sydney Friauf added 15 points, Maddie Lord scored 12 and eight of the 10 players who saw action for the Storm scored in the game.

Skyview coach Jennifer Buscher said her team had a significant rebounding advantage.

“I like how hard we played. I like the teamness that we showed,” Buscher said.
