The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a man pictured in surveillance footage robbing a US Bank branch in Orchards on Wednesday evening.

The sheriff’s office said a man entered the bank, at 6407 N.E. 117th Ave., around 5:30 p.m., pointed a handgun at a teller and demanded cash. Emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian indicated that the robber, a male, reportedly was wearing makeup and a fake nose. Further information was not available Wednesday night.

The man left on foot. Sheriff’s Sgt. Todd Barsness said investigators tried to track the man with a police dog but were unsuccessful. The sheriff’s office asked anyone with information to call Sheriff’s Detective Chris Nicholls at 360-397-2211, ext. 5338.
