Marshall Leadership nominations extended

VANCOUVER — The nomination deadline for the Marshall Public Leadership Award has been extended through 5 p.m. Friday. Nominations for the adult and youth awards may be submitted by individuals or organizations.

Nomination forms are available at www.fortvan.org/marshall or may be picked up at the Fort Vancouver National Trust offices in the Gen. O.O. Howard House, 750 Anderson St., Vancouver.

A nominee for the adult award must be a resident of Clark County, 35 or younger, with a four-year college degree. Criteria include leadership ability, commitment to public service, academic achievement and potential for an active role in public service.

Youth leadership nominees must be county residents in the 12th grade. Criteria include activities and projects demonstrating the Marshall values.
