A car struck a C-Tran bus Wednesday afternoon in east Vancouver.

The incident was in the southbound lanes of Northeast 162nd Avenue near Northeast 23rd Street. No one was injured on the bus, which was hit near the front fender, said Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp. She said an occupant of the car was possibly injured.

Southbound traffic on Northeast 162nd Avenue was temporarily blocked, clogging the thoroughfare. Additional details on how the crash occurred were not available Wednesday.
