The state-based health insurance exchange, Washington Healthplanfinder, is launching a statewide enrollment drive ahead of the Feb. 15 deadline.

This weekend, the “It’s About Time: Enrollment Drive” will provide in-person assistance at eight locations across the state for people who would like to enroll in a qualified health plan for 2015 coverage.

Registered insurance brokers and health plan navigators will be at Westfield Vancouver mall, 8700 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Small-business employers interested in enrolling through Washington Healthplanfinder Business can also get enrollment help at the event.

Those who enroll and pay for a health plan by 4:59 p.m. Friday will have coverage beginning Feb. 1. Those who enroll by 11:59 p.m. Feb. 15 will have coverage effective March 1.

After Feb. 15, only those with qualifying life events will be able to enroll in a plan before the next open enrollment begins this fall.
