A Camas man and a 3-year-old boy were injured Monday afternoon in a vehicle crash in Vancouver.

The silver 2015 Toyota RAV4 had been traveling east on state Highway 14 when it took the exit to Southeast 192nd Avenue, turned left and struck a concrete jersey barrier and guardrail at the southeast corner of the intersection, according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol.

The vehicle’s driver, 37-year-old Xianfeng Zeng, was injured and transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, the memo said. Zeng was treated and released from the hospital Monday, according to PeaceHealth staff.

Zeng’s passenger, an unidentified 3-year-old boy, also was hurt and taken to a local hospital, according to WSP. His condition was not available Monday.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
