Hazel Dell — Kids from the Clinton and Gloria John Boys & Girls Club started off their summers with a bit of digging and weeding at the Hazel Dell School and Community Garden as part of part of the Garden Wednesdays program. The kids joined Washington State University Food $ense Coordinator Jodee Nickel and WSU master gardeners. They had a scavenger hunt in the garden and spent time digging for potatoes and weeding the paths and blueberry beds. The program continues Wednesday mornings for Boys and Girls Club Early Birds through August.
