I was greatly amused at the parody written by Joseph R. Maurer in the June 2 letter “Vote to move nation forward,” wherein he listed all the progressive talking points against the conservatives. If it wasn’t a parody, he should be grateful he never lived in Jonestown, Guyana, in 1978, where Kool-Aid was the drink of choice in that community.
